Morning notes

It’s staff meeting day so i get to be in Chapel Hill for the morning. Cool.
– Took apart a good chunck of the dryer last night. The squeek is in a spot that only a trained tech can reach, I think – as I’m not about to completely disassemble the damn thing. Although since Renee claims no laundry will be onde until it’s fixed, I may be doing laundry after the meeting toda.
– Looks like the new house will be done, finished, and ready to occupy by Tuesday. So Renee is procuring a truck, and getting the electric hookup taken care of. I’ll be handling the phones, and everything else utility wise. Less than a week to go until the move starts.
– Ray was bratboy on the way out fo the old house today. He’s really not interested in daycare any more. Maybe after the move?
– This just in – we now have a Ryder Truck for the move. 39 cents/mile, but hey, it’s gotta be better than UHaul. Now she’s a little upset because I asked if she shopped arround, but it’s OK – we ahve a truck, and we’ll be able to keep our furnature safe even in the rain. Way cool.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
