The morning after…

Long weekend and lots of quiet time. Not that I was off-line, I just didn’t get around to updating LJ *grin*

Install-fest went well on Saturday. Good turn out, lots of successes, a couple of disappointments. Thanks to Katz, spot, Pam and everyone else who turned out. An “official” LUG thank you is on it’s way…

…spent Sunday testing a new XFree driver for my 3dfx card – not quite perfect yet. I may have to hack source, which is dangerous, since I’m not a hardcore C programmer.

Yesterday was restful, with some FF9 thrown in. I’m 4-5 quests away from Disk 4, and I really want to finish before we go on vacation – If I take the PSX with us, Renee will kill me, I think. *grin*

Work today? Lots to do, I think. I’m off….

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

“An ‘official’ LUG thank you….” – I’m having flashbacks to old Marvel comics and Stan Lee’s “no-prizes”. :)
