But vi is the clean elegant simplicity of a Bauhaus (architecture, not the gothband for a change) design, versus the encrusted-with-doilies-and-gingerbread faux-Victorianism of emacs.
Well, I finally figured out how to remove some of the more annoying frills, like the builtin mail program and usenet news reader.
Plus is has a nice CVS interface.
I may be a convert. We’ll see. I’ve been using it all day today, and I’m becoming hooked…
