Monday wrapup

Spent several hours hacking into servlet specs and different ways different app servers address parameter handling.

came into Pittsboro to pick up the hockey tix he & pam will be using Wednesday night. His first comment : “Wow. You sure did want to get away from the city.” I keep forgetting how tall he is, until I’m looking up to him – a position I’m not used to being in.

Ray was a nap-less boy, and excitable.

This morning I find two detailed messages poking holes into my code. That puts things right into a sour note for the morning, and hell to see before I’ve even had my coffee. Ugh. Gonna be one of those days. I can feel it.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

Wanna trade? I’ve got this wonderful High Availability configu…. oh never mind. You don’t wanna trade. :)

Pittsboro is nice (what I saw of it) but I’m a city child, I grew up in a small town (well, I grew up close enough to Charlotte, that it wasn’t too bad) and moved to Durham as soon as I had the chance. The clock tower is spiffy though, reminded me of Back To The Future. ;)
