Hey there

Met Jacob & Renee at UNC’s Hospital for an ultrasound on Jacob’s hip. Nothing serious, just UNC is the best Hospital in our crappy insurance to get the ultrasound done at.

I would have stopped by and said “hi” to you, but I didn’t have any idea how long we’d be there. or if you even work in/near the actual hospital.

UNC is darn efficient for things like this. In & out in about an hour. And we got there early, so, had we been “right” on time, it would have taken all of 30 mins.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

UNC Hosp sucks doesn’t it. I have an appt of my own on the 26th. Anyway, I’m in 547 Burnett-Womack Bldg (adjacent to hospital) if you ever are in the area during the workday.

Actually, UNC was much better than big Wake, or even Wesern Wake. Damn near right no time, quick service (as it were) and no hassles getting in or out.

    I was impressed.

And I’m over there a lot – you know my office is in Timberlyne, right?

Yeah, you said, we have offices in Timberlyne also. I’d go to Duke for my problems if I could afford to! I took mom there when she had some things going on. But at least over here there isn’t a transportation issue.

My car is in the shop for $850 worth of work. I do *not* abuse this car! How does it get like that! Oh boy, my life just gets more and more fun. AGGGGHHHH.

Tired & sick of being tired & sick (not to mention broke!)
