No PS2 for Xmas

This week has been a long string of code, compile, test, repeat. Home life has been boring, and nothing exceptionally new to report.

So I didn’t update for a while. Then today, I realized with a sinking feeling that I would not be getting myself a PS2 for Xmas. I need to spend the money on a replacement wireless hub for the house, since the one from the office has to go back in January. Since the baby was born, things have gotten tighter, and so I’ll just have to wait. The wireless hub is more important than a new console anyway.

Such is life. I wonder if I can find a deal on eBay before paying full retail (or some near price) at best buy or mail order….

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

Hahaha, No, responsability is buying diapers and food instead of a wireless hub *OR* a PS2. This is stil frivolous, only less frivolous than a PS2….
