Felt like an ass yesterday, since we were actually out of milk and one of our prescriptions. So I hit the grocery and the drugstore before work, picking up two gallons of milk (our usual amount) a box of birth control, and a prescription refill. Sure, most people buy milk, eggs, and bread – I buy milk, condoms, and flouride supplements. go figure.

Work was frustrating. On the one hand, I was trying to re-install oracle (again) an don the other I was trying to watch the weather so I’d know exactly when to head home. Left at my usual time, and the snow started *JUST* as I was going through Carrboro.

The first hour of snow is kind of dull. As someone in Alabama described it “Grits in a fan” – small, dusty particles that don’t settle much. But by the time I got home…

I’ll try to take some pictures before the wife & kids go outside and ruin it *grin*

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina.
