got the scoop at the staff meeting yesterday. I expect if we loose one particular client, or that client cuts back….

That and my insurance costs are going to nearly double. Can’t cut back on the benefit level, and in that plan, it means those of us with family coverage get ass-fucked. I hate Medcost.

*sigh* I’ve lost faith in this company. I love my job, and the management has it’s head screwed on right, but I don’t think the company is gonna survive. I don’t think it can. Maybe I’m being overly pessimistic, but there’s just not enough coming in, and with paychecks due Monday (and we only got the one due the 10th on the 15th), I see bad things in the near future. Time to get out, I think, before I get put out…

Sucks to have to be this serious this early on a Saturday…

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

this might be an option for you. Honestly, it’s a job that I wanna take for myself to a large extent, but the timing’s not working out very well for me right now, unfortunately.

Resume submitted. if I get this, you will be “da man” for a while *grin*

Actually, it’s in one of the “next” industries. Wireless and Biotech are going to go “boom” soon, I think….
