Oops, Oh My

Looks like we get paid tomorrow. About fucking time.

I re-iterate – anyone need a java developer or know anyone who needs a java developer?

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

But I thought you’d written you weren’t getting paid until the 14th for the one due the 25th, so this is an improvement, no? At least your paycheck isn’t lapping itself.

Almost. It’s the 4th, and the next paycheck is due the 10th. And I haven’t been paid YET – J just sent the word to A to have paychex process. With processing time, it’s likely to be Monday before I actually get paid whihc is the 8th, which is 2 days short a lap.

And the next one is likely to be late because the same client is slow to pay, and if my estimates based on past performance are correct, it’ll be damn close to the 25th before that check gets paid.

Oh, and the next paycheck is where medical goes up $200/month for me.
