That’s why I like it!

Was up way too late last night, but watched “Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back”

I positively cackled at some points. ’nuff said.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

It was worth staying up for, if nothing else but for stupid value ;) Hehehe….

OK, I’ll admit – I lvoe Kevin Smith Films. Sure Mallrats was tupid and goofy, but it was fun. Clerks was better (and it came first anyway), and then, when he got a little more serious with Chasing Amy and Dogma, he did it in a way that got the message across – this is how he saw it, and the humor just added to the overall writing.

Now comes Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back, and I’m still laughing at it. I didn’t do that for any of the others (well, OK, mabve a *LITTLE* for Clerks – particularly the cat-box scene). But, My gods, the Lightsabers. The LIGHTSABERS. The ass kicking. “In this world gone mad, we won’t spank the monkey… the monkey will spank us!”

Maybe I sould watch it again. Tomorrow night. Tonight is IRON MONKEY!
