Party Hard!

Tuesday was the end-of-year Party at Ray’s pre-school. Dopeed him off, came home to look after jacob while Renee got ready to run some errands. After they left (Renee & Jacob) I headed back to the party. Ray and I played, then went to lunch at the soda shop.

We hung out until Renee came home, then I tried to figure out a bug that wasn’t really a bug in our code – it’s really an interaction problem between our code and Apache TomCat. Urgh.

Cooked dinner, then went to the in-laws’ house to spend some time with Renee’s Grandma before she flies back to New Hampsire.

Watched the first 5 of the ‘Canes-Wings game there, listened to the rest on the drive home. Put Ray to bed, did my bedtime chores, then went to a neighbor’s house to watch the rest of the game. he’s a wings fan, and like much of the arena was quiet at the end of the night.

Walked home half-drunk, watched the last 15 or so of the Harry Potter DVD and then passed out.

Today : Work, work, work.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
