So my new Anime DVDs came in on Frdiay. Didn’t get to watch any of them until Saturday, when I watched the first Hikaru no Go DVD. This is Eps 1-4, and it’s a good series. Renee found it boring, but she doesn’t play Go. I’ve got a second DVD with more eps on it, and cannot wait for a US release.

Saturday she also saw Spirited Away. I ended up ordering *THAT* R2 disk Sunday morning. Yeah, she said it’s that good.

Sunday night was more NightWalker: Midnight Detective. Broke down and ordered the soundtrack so I could hear the intro song over and over and over.

Last night I got my digisub on with Abenobash Mahou Shoutengai ep 5 and Mahou Senshi Riui ep 1. Riui looks amusing. Abenobashi 5 is better than 3, so we’ll see how 6 is.

And then we watched Tomb Raider. MMmmm. Angelina Jolie. I wonder if I can convince Renee to try out some of thse clothes….

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
