Did not alter my mind last night. Maybe I should have.

Ray already wants help with everything except eating and going to the bathroom. Renee spent most of yesterday playing Ragnarok Online. I’m really getting tired of staring at the back of her head. And hearing her bitch about the pre-school being closed.

I’m understanding why snowed-in farmers went crazy over long mid-western winters.

Maybe roads will be clear enough to go to work this morning….

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

Us midwestern farmers still go crazy over long winters despite having good snow removal equipment. When it gets this cold you start finding reasons not to go outside and do things which of course is a catch 22 because it forces you to stay inside where you get cabin fever. I swear Deb almost killed me one winter when I was going stir crazy and came downstairs yelling about how we never go anywhere or do anything anymore. I’m much better off in Spring, Summer and Fall than I am in winter here.

Ah whip cream hardly counts as mind altering (well for more then a few moments) :) I hope you are able to get out as well… stir crazy sucks!
