“And that’s the hand I use, well, nevermind!:”

Making backups of the Simon and Garfunkel CDs I shouldn’t have bought. Then again, it’s nice to ahve all 5 studio albums at my fingertips again since on the ride home I was pushed form “so-so” into “bouncy” by listening to “Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme” start to finish. Then it was “Bridge over Troubled Water” while I ate dinner with the boys.

Gotta rip them to MP3 for the portable player, and then I’m happy-happy.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

Coby MP-CD500 MP3/CD Player. Plays normal Audio CDS, and then plays MP3 CDs…which means I can purn about 700MB of MP3s to a disk, push play and cruise. it also has a built-in recharger, so you can put NiCd or NiMH batteries in it and charge off the AC adapter for the player.

The headphones that came with are crap, though. Thankfully, I ahve my AIWA HP-CN5 noise cancellers. I can’t wait o try this rig with the chainsaw/yardwork.

He’s so unhip that when you say Dylan, he thinks you’re talking about Dylan Thomas, whoever he was.
