Well Monday went well. Tried to reorganize things so that I’d be less likely to let something get shuffled into the cracks. The spent a good part of the day dealing with all the stuff on my plate, excepting the hour plus lunch meeting. Well, OK, the lunch meeting was interesting to watch – for various reasons.

At least the food was free, and not Rudino’s.

Got home to the usual – dinner, cleanup, Renee played her game, Ray watched me play on the Playstation2. Tried a different monster or two on War of the Monsters, and got further with Congar than anyone else I’ve tried. Almost beat the dragon form of Malefacent on Kingdom Hearts. Then it was popcorn, Spongebob, and bedtime for Ray. Poked at downgrading the glibc on my 8.0 partition to allow it to play nice with NWN. That a pain – I may see about re-installing it just because. And while I’m at it, I’ll block the glibc rhn update.

Then the usual – Futurama, That’s 70’s show, sleep. Renee woke me up by accident when she came to bed, but that was OK – I can live with being woken up for that reason….

6:20. Time to get ready for work. I think, today, that I’ll re-install the CD-RW into one of my boxes so I can burn CDs again. I’ll still have to bug CK to burn DVDs at work, but it;’s a small price to pay.

OK, shower time. Then back to the grind. I’ve got a list of things to get done today, so off I go!

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
