Back from Charlotte. Had a quick visit with after dropping off the travel case. She’s got a lot going on too, but it was nice to finally put a voice to the face. :)

Came home. played with kids. Now I’m catching up on some work. Took Jacob forever to sleep, too.

Now, if only the wireless Ethernet didn’t crap out under heavy load….

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

BTW, in case you get a free moment… POKE. I dunno how long pbmserv lets games sit idle, but we’re *bound* to be approaching it recently ;)

Also, Stephenson’s first name is Neal, not Neil (in your interests, it’s the other way).

It was nice to finally meet you (I mentioned that in another comment) – and I tell ya, it really throws you off. You just look nothing like that anime :)

    Well, not anymore, no.

OK, maybe never. *sigh* I like to think I looked like that when I was 30-lbs ligher and a few (lot) years younger and clean shaven. but, uh, I delude myself.

But yeah, very cool. And I was totally caught off guard by your voice. Wow. Very nice. And I think you’ve lost a little more weight since your last shoot, which works very well for you.
