I think

I have had

Enough.

The house is a pigsty.
The laundry always needs doing.
The plants that we bought that Renee “could plant with the kids” are still on the front porch.
The groceries need bought.
The weather is almost too hot.

I try not to vent here, but I’m sick and tired of all the shit

I’m not ready to quit yet, but I am about ready to blow a gasket.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

sometimes blowing a gasket and letting the other person know you are absolutely at your wits end is a good thing[tm].

i’m so sorry you are both going through this.

hopefully it will get better very soon.

I just got back from seeing what happens when gaskets blow and people call it quits. All I’ll say (I’m under a bit of a self-imposed gag rule, since it’s someone else’s life) is:

We out here are not (so) emotionally involved. Better that you rage at the machine than at her.

That said, I hope you can find a long-term solution, sir.
