Phone, Crazy Eyes, and Bits and Pieces

So the guy who answered my phone and said he’d meet me didn’t. So…turn off that phone and look into alternatives.

Friday after I picked up the kids we went to Best Buy and picked up new Black RAZR V3 phones for R and I. And switched to Cingular at a nice savings. After much poking, proding, a and a little classical hacking I had managed to not only apply new themes, but upload a backup of my LG’s phone list into the contact database. Oh, and some MP3 ringtomes as well.

RAZR V3 == teh cool

Missed ‘s Gamefest on Saturday. Spent the day feeling like leftover ass, high on Tylenol Cold Non-Drowsy. Today I’m somewhat better, so I think I’ve got it under control.

Little R and I wore our uniforms to Church for Scout Sunday. Pastor said I needed to meet his friend who was really into Scouts….and named my Committee Chair/Former Cubmaster. I love small towns.

In other items of interest, Has anyone else wonder why noone noticed that Bobby Pollard was crazy before now? Of course, I wonder why we didn’t send the Army to invade since he, at least, had a “WMD”…

and I are going to do some co-op DoW fun. And some Serious Sam, when I pick up a copy. Anyone else have some recomendations? Maybe BZFlag? Does the Dune RTS or the Star Wars RTS have a Co-Op mode?

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

    I dunno if it had co-op, but I had quite a bit of fun with Homeworld 2..

    I burnt so much time on that game.. And now I’m wasting away to DoW… Thanks, by the way. Haha.
