kitten cuteness

So one of the bestest things about little Ems is she has decided I’m her person. She follows me around the house, cries when I walk the dog, and curls up next to me when I’m on the laptop – like right now.

Of course, at 4am when she decides my toes under that blanket are a threat to life, liberty, and proper rest, she’ll make up for it…

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

Thankfully, they grow out of the toe-attacking stage. Eventually. Really.

I’ve sworn off kittens. Sure they’re cute, but they’re evil minions of chaos and destruction.

Oh, I know. Of the 9 cats who have shared my adult life, 3 started as kittens. She’s just WAY more agressive and Playful than the prior 2.

She’s also the first GIRL, and I’m wondering if that psycology is different as well.

But I love her anyway. She’s the cutest EVAR, even if she’s getting to be adult sized.
