Recovery comes at a price

Still getting over the cold my youngest left for me last weekend. Of course, this means that it’s difficult to get work done. I did manage to make some headway on several projects, but my week has been mostly consumed with the creeping crud.

It also means that I’ve seen some things that elicit the “I WANT” reflex.

For example, the geekiest, most impresive, litterbox EVER :

The Cat Genie – scoops, sanitizes, and flushes. Extremely nifty…

And then, the flip-flops of the well-to-do :

The Bonsai Sandal – Sheepskin lined flip-flops. Yes, flip-flops. In black. Considering I’ve been using my flip-flops since the late night loss of my fleece clogs (I blame the beagle, bad lighting, and a sinkhole), and comfy as they are, they do get a bit cold in this weather….

That’s pretty much it for now – time to make sure the kids are still cleaning their room…a task I’ve had to force them into (big shock there!).

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.

I have litterbox lust. And that’s really not a phrase I ever wanted to type…

Oh that litter box looks divine! I really must think about if that’s something I want to get. Of course, I’d have to figure out where to put it and it might confuse the cat by moving the litter box. But to never have to scoop out a dirty box! Thanks for the link.

I like the litter box, but for $300+ I think I’ll keep scooping… it’s not THAT bad.

My friends and have that litter box. I only heard that they got it, though, now what they think of how it works.

From where I see, though, it looks quite nice!
