Yesterday I left early for TriLUG (around 3:30/4) to run some errands. Picked up some Yen at the bank, hen to the post office to get get out to Tokyo before 5. Then to best Buy to RMA the Playstation2 since it’s laser is dying. That took an hour, but I did manage to sign up for the Best Buy credit card, since I was short on cash to pay the difference between the Original PS2 (open box special) and a new one. Then off to RTI for TriLUG.

TriLUG went well last night. Came home later than I should as usual, only to find that Jacob had been a grumpy baby all evening, and that Renee was near her breaking point. Fed the cats a few hours late (since she forgot). I slept, she slept, Jacob slept.

Woke up this morning with a stiff neck, fed the cats, made the coffee. Picked up all the dishes and shit from last night, caught up on my email, fixed the DB2 problem I was having, and documented the DB2 install process for our test server. Went to shower, then laundry. Now some more work, and a meeting with the CCRITT this afternoon in downtown Pittsboro.

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
