Convention Time!

Well, it’s almost that time again – time to pack up the con kit and hit the road to far away places and strange new sights.[1]

First up is DucKon! This weekend (Jun 17-19) Ursula is Artist GoH for DucKon 20 in Chicago, IL! We’ll be in the dealer’s room with a table when Ursula isn’t on a panel. We’re packing a boatload of prints, some Dragonbreath books, and a mish-mash of other goodies (depending on what we can fit on the plane with us). If you’re at the con, please stop by and say Hi!

Then we get to come home and do laundry, and pack up the car for AnthroCon 2011 in Pittsburgh, PA Jun 24-28. AnthroCon is one of our favorite conventions to attend, and we’ll be able to hang out with some of our favorite people[2]. We’ll be in the Dealer’s Room across from SofaWolf Press during regular room hours, and we look forward to meeting everyone who stops by.

So, if posts from either one of us seem a bit sporadic for the next week or so, it’s because we’re here, there, and everywhere. But don’t despair! There will be new episodes of Kevin and Ursula Eat Cheap[3] and In The Evening all queued up for your listening pleasure while we’re traveling, so you will still be able to get your fix while we’re on the road.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to get packing…

[1] Not really, we’ve been to both these cities before.
[2] I was going to put in a list, but it’s too long. You know who you are, right?
[3] I’m glad my innards get a break after recording 3 episodes of KUEC in a week. They’ll need it…

About Kevin Sonney

Kevin Sonney - who, contrary to popular opinion was NOT raised by wolves - grew up in central North Carolina. He fell into the technology field by accident in 1991, when he gave up the wild and crazy lifestyle of an on-air AM radio DJ to become a mundane technical support monkey. The technology industry has never really recovered from this. Kevin has worked for such names as IBM, Red Hat, webslingerZ, and Lulu Technologies (we won't mention the ones that didn't survive the experience). He currently works as a Linux Administrator for Apptio. In his spare time he rescues stray animals and plays video games with his two sons. His wife, we're sad to say, helps him get past the really hard bits. Kevin is still not very mundane, he just got better at hiding it.
